2009 In Review.

2009 was a wild year for the Turners.
Here are some of the highlights....

To start the year off, I reached my goal weight of 135 totaling a 55lb loss, taking me close to a year and a half to pull it off.

Dylen finished his first year of school (Kindergarten). Played Baseball with Riverdale City.
The kids got to go to the Jordan World Circus. They loved that. Especially the poodles.

We took my nephews, and kids to the Air Show at Hill Field. That was neat, I haven't been since I was a kid myself. We got to see race cars, motor cycles, and of course many types of Jets and Planes.

In June we took a family vacation to Cabo San Lucas for a week with my husbands family. Totaling 16 of us. It was so much fun though. Traveling around the city was fun, trying to stuff as many of us as we could in a Taxi. The kids and I managed to over come our fears of flying on that vacation.
We took a tour to look at some other condo's and had to laugh: No OSHA.We saw two gentlemen on a tile roof trying to stand a ladder on it to make some repair's. We didn't stick around to watch the end result.

Over the summer we took a break from most of our activities. Between Dance, Gymnastic, and Baseball we needed to have some time to just veg around the house. I started on the main bathroom remodel. Still a work in progress. We took bike rides down to the park way that is only two blocks from our house.

In August, Kaya competed in her first pageant and took over all in the 0-4 ages. Winning her the Supreme Queen and Fashion Model Titles. She had so much fun she can't wait for State. She is hoping to compete next month in the Cinderella pageant I use to do as a kid.

We also lost two people this year. Both for different reasons.
And I know there are other of you who have also lost a loved one this year. Our hearts go out to you. But the memory of them will sustain you.
