Everything Else

Kaya showing off her Halloween costume.
We had to take pictures and send them in for her last pageant.

Kaya and Mackenzie on Halloween Night.
With Dylen and Dakota beneath.

Scott and I made up Kindness and Zac for their school dance. They won first place for their creepy costumes and makeup!

Dakota with his tootsie roll bullet wound.

Logan, Dylen, and Kaya helping take down the old wood fence.

Kota at his first wrestling meet. He took second place.
Logan didn't place but did great himself.

Kaya and Mackenzie and Dylen Championship basketball game.

A sick Dylen with strep throat
and missing another tooth.

Kaya's fourth birthday party and Thanksgiving.

She was so excited to get baking goods!!

Basketball

Again this team was not familiar with the game. Only two players have played before. But the came a long way and learned so much. Scott had to take over coaching after only a few practices. With a ton of help from Cody and Brian.

Kaya's Beehive Beauty Pageant

Placed Second and Photogenic.

Throwing the first and only on stage tantrum at a pageant.
She loves to be on stage, but this day she did not inform us until after it was all over that she wanted to keep her pageant dress on underneath her Halloween costume.

Some Misc Things

Kaya on Dylen's first day of school.

The middle Nephew Jadon, taking a break from his teams winning streak at the October Fest.
Going from the underdogs to 2end place was so stressful to watch that day!!!
And the kids had so much heart!

Youngest nephew Dakota, after his team took a loss at the October Fest.
They had been on top most of the season on taking on two losses.
But, didn't do well enough to continue on to the finals.

Dylen after spending the day with his cousins at his Aunt and Uncle's new house.
He and his cousin's were horsing around in the basement, he tripped and fell into the wall losing both front teeth and gaining a bloody nose.

Chase and Rachels Wedding

This couple is so fun and outrageous!!!

Knowing both side of this couple, it was so much fun to see old friends from long ago.

I know the Brides family from my sister-in-law (Lacey) and her family. The Bride is Lacey's cousin. I also grew up with her cousins and aunts and worked with many of them at the ski resort or danced with them as a kid.

The maid of honor was and old school friend, whom I'd not seen in many years.

The Groom's family.....
I danced with the Groom, his Mom, and Sister. And have managed to stay in contacted with them as we all grew up and got married....and so on..

One of the best parts of the wedding.....Chase and Rachel start out with a beautiful slow dance....then out of now where they break into a few fun moves and by the end back to the slow dance. It seem to be right on with this couples fun and vivacious personality.

Dylen 's Flag Football

Eeeek! I didn't realize how far behind in posting the goings on of our family I had gotten.
We have been so busy up until this week.

So here is Dylen doing Flag football with Riverdale City Rec.

They started out in pretty sad shape. None of our boys had played before.
Our coach was unable to practice before our first game. Scott stepped in to play the defensive coach for the team.

By the end of the season they came into their own. The had learned enough to be winning or tying most of the final games. They even made it into the playoffs.

Dylen was playing quarterback and corner most often. Running in a few touchdowns and extra points for the team.

He made some new friends and got to play with some of his best friends. His good friend Carter made a great many of our touchdowns with his speedy legs.

And after having all of his dance classes canceled it must have been nice to have some other activities. As well as doing great scholastically, the reason for not being able to play last year.
