Dylen and Baseball Season

Dylen's baseball season is soon to start.
We love to watch him play.
He is still playing in coach pitch.

He has been practicing hard with his uncle, dad, and cousin's. All whom love baseball.

We will forward the info on team games once we get them.

Soon! I hope!

And then onto the rest of the fun!

Another Pageant for Kaya

Kaya is so excited to be compeating in the Beehive Beauty Pageant next weekend.
This is her third pageant.
This one is a natural pageant. I prefer them. Not so much for the little ones involved.

And then in one month from now she will be competing at the Cinderella State Pageant.

If your interested in coming out to watch her and have her make the audience laugh, let me know.

Sick Kids

Last Monday on the 19th we found out Dylen had Scarlet Fever.
I thought he was having an allergic reaction to something.
To add to that he had a bloody nose the night before and woke up with a horrible one on Monday morning that lasted for a half and hour.
Took him into the DR. and they looked at him and moved him to a sick room and did a strep test.
It came back positive of course.
Then the DR. brought in her medical journal and showed us what it looked like.
Sure enough, everything looked just like he did.

So, she had us go home and call everyone he'd been in contact with the last 12 - 24 hours and warn them, that they'd been exposed.
It's not dangerous anymore, just very high fevers that need to be taken care of.

Then a week later Kaya started complaining of a headache.
She didn't have a fever, but she was "extra lovey" and that was a bit out of the ordinary.
We looked at her throat that night and it was swollen and red.
The next morning she hadn't gotten better.
I asked her if she wanted to go the DR. and she said "yes".
( For those who know her and her Dad, they hate the Dr. offices.)
So I knew then that she felt really bad.

And again, sure enough, it was positive.
Really there was no surprise there either.
She was only just starting to show symptoms, so she was fine later the next day after being on the med's for two days.

Now they are both feeling better and driving me crazy.
What a life.
Though it is good to have them feeling better again.
