Another Month Already!?!

This year is already flying by.
I can't believe it's already March.
School and dance will be over in a matter of months.
Then onto the summer.
"I can't wait"

Now I know, I'm normally a winter person.
But, this summer just has so many possibilities in store for our family.
Biking, Camping, Hiking, Swimming!

We have so much planned for the summer.
We want to redo the front yard and get rid of all the evergreens.
Also adding the backyard on our list of things to do.
Hoping to get to a inside remodel on the kitchen, family room, and our bedroom done.

Dylen has been improving in school once more.
Again, he is acing just about every homework assignment and test he's taken.
His attitude in school is also on the mend.

We are getting ready to sign him up for baseball.
As soon as the weather warmed he was outside practicing for it.
He is so excited to play with his friends this coming season.

Kaya has been dealing with a bout of croup this last week.
She has never been a sick child but this has done her in.
She has done a lot of sleeping when she isn't up all night long.

Dylen was learning about the St. Patrick's day holiday this last week.
He was asked if he could have three wishes what would they be?
He said first, he wants his sister to get better.
Second, he wanted a fire breathing dragon.
The third one I didn't hear, because by the time he told me the first two I zoned out.
I couldn't believe that something so sweet could come out of his mouth.
Then be followed by something so outrageous.

Cuddling with his sick "Sissy".

Cinderella Pageant 2010

Our little princess did it again.
She was able to compete in the Cinderella Pageant 2010 this year.
She competed in the 3-6 age division.

She won the overall queen title in the 3-6 age group.
She also won the people's choice award that is voted on by the audience.

This was a long pageant for her.
It was three hours.
After the crowning ceremony she was invited back later in the evening to be with the older winners.

We took her home to give her a nap.
She was ready to go again a few hours later.
She loved being on stage.

In June she will be competing at the state pageant.
This title also is one that has obligations with it.
She will be doing the 4th of July parade and the Weber County Fair.
And I believe there are many community service's she will be performing during her year as the Cinderella Tot Queen.
