The start of the 2010 year so far has been a great one, so far.
Kaya is getting ready for the Cinderella Pageant coming in two weeks. We started her dress this week, and we started practicing last night. She got up this morning and did some on her own. I can't believe how excited she is.
She also had her first visit to the dentist last week. She is doing a great job at brushing her teeth. She didn't mind anything until the dentist came in to do the rest of the check up. I guess it's a good thing that DAD was there! haha!
Dylen was moved into the advanced math and reading classes. He is getting an A- in math and doing pretty good in his reading class. We are hoping to get him signed up for baseball shortly. He is so ready for summer he tells me, but he wants to snowboard still. I tell him, sorry but it's not often that you can have both.
Dylen also had his visit the the dentist this week. He has his first cavity, they are going to fill that next week. (Nervous to see how that goes.) He was given instructions to try and loosen his front teeth some more to help them along. And he is going to have to have a sealent put on his back teeth to help prevent cavities in them. They came in early, and they want him to have less problems with them as he grows, and keep cavities out of them.
We had to make a tough decision at the start of the year.
To go to Hawaii with the rest of the family, or stay behind.......(It's something we have been planing for almost two years now.)
We are going to stay behind on this trip....Scott and I felt that it was best, to pay off the medical bills rather than go with everyone, will benefit us more in the long run.
It will give us more money through out the rest of the year to make some improvements around the front and back yards. So, rather than spend our money on a great adventure this year, that we are hopping to do at some point later in life. We are going to do some major work on the yards while everyone is on vacation. No sense in wasting a whole week doing nothing right!!?! And maybe take a camping trip up the canyon.
