Grrrr!

I'm not usually a negative person, but seriously, could May get any worse!

So, I take Kaya in for her follow up appointment with the pediatrician on Wednesday.....
They have decided that she had a very bad allergic reaction to something last Sunday.
She's has had a little lung damage from the episode.
The doctor proscribe her Albuteral for her lungs and wheezing,
and Epi-pens in case she has another problem.
(Talk about expensive!)
She also recommended that we get her to an allergist asap.
She has that appointment on Friday.
Dylen will follow next month, to be sure there are no surprises in store for us with him.

As the doctor is going over the looking portion of Ki, checking her lungs, heart, ears and throat, she see something in her ear......AGAIN!
The doctor tried to get it out, with out any luck.
Back to the ear nose and throat specialist again!
We were sent over there right after we got done with the pediatrician.

He managed to get it out....turns out it's a tiny piece of plastic.
How it got in there......I have no clue!

But on the funny and positive side of life.....

Here is a funny story I can't resist to tell you all.

I'm down stairs washing laundry.
Ki is no where in site, and very quiet.
(Not usually a good sign in her.)
I hear a drawer in our bathroom close and open a few times,
and just as I got up to investigate, Kaya comes down the stairs.....

.....She is holding a tampon, and says "Hey, there's no candy in here, I wanted candy."
I walk back up the stairs with her trying not to laugh to much.......
We get into the bathroom and there on the floor are about a dozen more.
At this point I fall over laughing so hard, what was going through that child's mind?
You'd think after the first one or so that she would have already figured it out.
So I explained to her they aren't candy......they are big girl things that she'll learn about later.
She gave me the funniest look, telling me she didn't understand and wanted me to elaborate, and I just left it at that.

And on another good note.

We had a great weekend.
We took the kids to a birthday party of a long time friend.
Saw lots of other friends from my past.
Visited with my aunt, uncle and grandmother.
The kids spent the night at my parent house and had a blast.

Yesterday, Kaya asked me to get out her big girl bike that she hasn't been able to ride until now.
She was able to get on and ride it immediately....with out any help!
She just might be ready for the training wheels to come off at the end of summer.
She didn't even want to get off to have lunch or dinner.

Scott and I did yard work,
played baseball and basket ball with the kids later in the afternoon.

Now, if I can just get through the next two weeks.
Tonight is dance and Dylen's first baseball game, which I'm going to miss. :(
Tomorrow, I go to get the results of my biopsy, try to fit in more dance.
Wednesday, Baseball again.
Thursday Dance, Dance and more Dance.
Friday.....Dance, Dance, Dr. for Ki, and then the Kids have gymnastics and dance.
Eeeeek!

And then next week it's worse.
We will only have a few days to prepare for our annual show coming up next Friday.
And more baseball games.

But, I asked for it.
I can't imagine not giving my kids the option to do the things they love.
My Mom did it for me, and I wouldn't change it.
I'll just sleep a week after all is said and done.
